Dear Friends,
Three and a half years ago, my mother was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), which is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow, and breathe. Presently, there is no known cause of the disease, though support is bringing researchers closer to an answer.
On September 11th, I will be walking for my mother and all the other families affected by this disease. Please consider sponsoring me to help support the advancement of ALS research and to expand access to care for people living with ALS. Any support you are able to offer will be of great comfort to me.
With love and gratitude,
Lindsay
