On Saturday, May 11th, 2019, our family will be joining other heroes at the ALS SuperHero 5K/10K Dash, an event that raises funds for The ALS Association, Minnesota/North Dakota/South Dakota Chapter. We need your support to make our efforts make a difference!
ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease, is a deadly illness with no known cause or cure, affecting the motor neurons in a person's brain and spinal cord. When the motor neurons die, the muscles waste away. Gradually, a person is robbed of the ability to walk, speak, eat and eventually breathe. Upon diagnosis, doctors give people with ALS only two to five years to live.
Our efforts through the SuperHero Dash will help The ALS Association fund research to find a cause and cure for ALS, as well as support services the Chapter provides for those living with the disease. Our personal fundraising goal is 3,000.00, and I hope you’ll help us reach it.
By making a one-time, tax-deductible donation, you can truly make a difference in the fight against ALS. Just visit our online fundraising website listed below to make a donation.
Any amount you feel comfortable giving is deeply appreciated. With your support, we can be heroes for hundreds of individuals and families dealing with the challenges of ALS.
