Join Bob's Entourage in the SuperHero 5k/10k Dash and walk or run in support of Bob Horeck for the 4th year! Our Dad is already a SuperHero, but we've had a challenging path so far and even more obstacles ahead of us. We're meeting families like ours who rely on the resources and the research to find a cure! This is a great time for us to become SuperHeroes together! We can support those living with ALS and spread awareness of the urgency to find treatments and a cure.
This is an event designed to raise funds to support those with ALS in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and parts of Wisconsin - specifically to help supply the local loan pool of equipment needed by those battling ALS. Often, the length of time to get that equipment approved by insurance and delivered is longer than the actual need for the piece. ALS affects everyone so differently, today's need for a cane could turn to a brace and walker very rapidly. The loan pool allows for the flexibility of accessing equipment as it's needed, and giving it back for others when needs change.
We need your help to reach the personal fundraising goal.
Sponsor our team with $10, $20, $100, or whatever amount you can!
Better yet! Join us to walk or run and show Bob your support!
ALS taken his ability to get around on strong legs - a guy who played hockey until he was 65! - - This year though, he'll be alongside us on his new wheels!

Why We Need Your Help
Often referred to as Lou Gehrig's Disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of an ALS patient averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis.
Every 90 minutes a person in this country is diagnosed with ALS and every 90 minutes another person will lose their battle against this disease. ALS occurs throughout the world with no racial, ethnic, or socioeconomic boundaries.
This crippling disease can strike anyone. Presently there is no known cause of the disease yet it still costs loved ones an average of $200,000 a year to provide the care ALS patients need. Help make a difference and donate or join us today.
