Most importantly, you are supporting and empowering people living with ALS and those affected by the disease, and making a difference in the fight against ALS. It is through the support of your sponsorship and the funds raised from this event that we are able to continue providing our programs and services free of cost to families across our area affected by ALS. These programs include providing durable medical equipment, providing augmentative communication devices that allow a person to continue speaking once ALS has robbed them of their voice, providing much-needed periods of rest for full-time family caregivers and outfitting homes with smart home technology. All of these programs contribute to a much higher quality of life throughout disease progression and impact the home and community in a positive way. Support raised also helps contribute to national research projects to find a cause and a cure for ALS.
