The ALS Association is the only not-for-profit voluntary health organization dedicated solely to find a cure for ALS and provide services to those with ALS and their families. We are the local Chapter of a larger, national organization.
The Chapter was founded and incorporated in 1993 in Minnesota in order to provide care services, community education, and support national research.
Kent Hrbek, former Minnesota Twins baseball player, and his wife, Jeanie are two of the Minnesota Chapter founders and continue to support us. We currently serve the states of Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and the Superior, WI area. Read more about our chapter here>
